The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist minutes to show the signs of aging – he’s also recovering from a nagging back pain that has immobilized him for a few days – but with his hair dyed a pale violet, his relaxed smile keeps alive the illusion of being in front of one of the most genuinely wild American alternative rock scenes.
