John Frusciante lanza nueva canción: Walls and Doors

John Frusciante acaba de divulgar una canción inédita, "Walls and Doors", que estará en su próximo álbum solista, PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone.
El lanzamiento tendrá nueve canciones y llegará a las tiendas americanas el 25 de Septiembre.
En su sitio oficial, Frusciante escribió: "esa canción marca un punto en que comencé a combinar una producción de los años 50 e inicios de los 70 con estilos electrónicos modernos. También fue la primera vez que conseguí equilibrar con éxito una música pop con formas abstractas de música. Ella me mostró que las partes pop y las partes mas osadas dentro de mi, pueden mezclarse sin comprometer una a otra".

About the Brendan’s Death Song Music Video
The main concept for the video was to shoot it in a Jazz Funeral style, which was fitting for the meaning the band intended for Brendan’s Death Song. Musically it also suited the structural progression of the song itself.The Jazz Funeral concept involved musicians playing in a marching band formation throughout the funeral procession. The first part of the video takes place during the day, where the funeral band plays as the Red Hot Chili Peppers perform while being driven along on a black Ford Pickup Truck Hearse. The final act of the video takes place at night and sees the band performing at McDonoghville Cemetery...

Yesterday Flea announced via his Twitter page that he’ll be releasing an EP titled Helen Burns in the next few days. Funds raised from sales of the EP will be go towards Flea’s L.A. music school, “The Silverlake Conservatory of Music.”
